The most common mistake in outdoor event planning in Princeton, NJ isn't choosing the wrong unit type — it's underestimating how many units are actually needed once the event is in full swing.
The widely cited ratio is one unit per 50 guests for every four hours. That works as a floor, not a ceiling. Once you add a bar, a hot afternoon, a longer event window, or a food-heavy menu, that ratio needs to go up. Events that stretch past six hours, or where guests are drinking, should be planned at closer to one unit per 35 guests.
Placement is the second piece that gets underplanned. Units placed too close to the main social area create an awkward dynamic. Units placed too far away get avoided until they become urgent. A good placement is visible enough to find easily but positioned away from dining, dancing, or seating areas.
For weddings and private events in Princeton specifically, a luxury trailer is almost always worth the cost. Guests remember the restroom when it's either very good or very bad — a trailer removes the risk of the latter entirely.
The starting point for events in Princeton is 1 unit per 50 guests per 4 hours. We adjust upward based on event duration, alcohol service, and whether food is being served. When in doubt, we'll give you a recommendation on the call.
Absolutely. Luxury trailers are available for any event size in Princeton, NJ — there's no minimum guest count. For smaller weddings, a single trailer often handles everything more elegantly than multiple standard units.
